Personal, flexible support

Care centred on the individual.

Professional nursing should feel clinically capable and deeply personal. Angels coordinates flexible support for residents, older people, people recovering from illness or surgery, and visitors who need help while away from home.

Each request is considered individually. Location, timing, health or family circumstances and the level of experience required all help determine the most suitable available professional.

01

Nursing at home

Qualified support while preserving independence

Home nursing can help someone recover, manage an ongoing condition or remain in familiar surroundings with the right professional input. Angels discusses the clinical instructions, risks and practical support required before matching an available qualified nurse.

Care may range from an arranged visit to longer periods of support. Where relevant, the nurse can liaise with the client’s doctor or specialist so that agreed care remains coordinated.

  • ✓Post-operative and recovery support
  • ✓Monitoring requested by a clinician
  • ✓Wound, catheter, stoma or continence care where appropriate
  • ✓Medication support within professional scope
02

Appointments & hospital

Clearer communication around local healthcare

Navigating a doctor or hospital appointment in another language can be stressful. Subject to availability, multilingual healthcare support can help clients explain their concerns, understand medical terminology and follow the significance of the advice they receive.

Angels may also discuss one-to-one support during a hospital stay or practical help following discharge. This is arranged around the hospital’s rules and the instructions of the treating team.

  • ✓Doctor and specialist appointments
  • ✓Hospital visits and one-to-one support
  • ✓Discharge planning and follow-up care
  • ✓Multilingual explanation and coordination
03

Extended support

From short visits to day-and-night care

Some people need only a small amount of help; others require continuous assistance for a defined period. Angels can discuss hourly, daily, overnight or extended arrangements according to need and availability.

For serious illness, palliative needs or complex care, arrangements must be coordinated carefully with the treating clinicians. The focus remains on comfort, dignity, appropriate professional boundaries and support for the wider family.

  • ✓Respite for relatives and family carers
  • ✓Overnight and extended arrangements
  • ✓Palliative support coordinated with clinicians
  • ✓International transfer support may be discussed
